The Nord 5 brings Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 to the mid-premium market. It features a 6.57-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Aqua Touch support, and 1400 nits of peak brightness.

Camera handled by a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide, while the front packs a sharp 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. Built-in AI tools include Reflection Remover and Eraser.

The device runs on OxygenOS (Android 15) and houses a 6,800mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Bypass Charging and a 4-year battery health guarantee are part of the package.

A large 7,300mm² CryoFlex vapor chamber keeps the device cool during long 144 FPS gaming sessions. It also supports Open Canvas multitasking and integrates Gemini AI Assistant. Design-wise, it has an 8.1mm slim metal frame, 1.65mm bezels, and comes in Dry Ice and Phantom Grey.

Nord CE 5: Big Battery, Long-Term Software Promise

Powering the more affordable Nord CE 5 is the Dimensity 8350 Apex processor, which delivers an AnTuTu score of 1.47 million.

It features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits brightness, and Ultra Volume Mode.

On the camera front, it offers a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 16MP selfie camera. The phone includes AI tools like Perfect Shot and Reframe.

Battery capacity is the largest in Nord history — 7,100mAh — with 80W fast charging and 27+ hours of YouTube playback.

OnePlus promises 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches, making it one of the most future-proof phones in its segment.

The design borrows cues from the Ace 5 Racing Edition with an oval camera module and glass back. Colors include Marble Mist and Black Infinity.
